Penelope Cruz's baby name revealed!

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem welcomed a bouncing baby boy into the family last month, but so far have remained tight-lipped on their tiny new arrival. Now it appears a friend of the famous couple has accidentally let slip the tiny tot’s new name, as he spoke to a group of reporters.

And it seems Penelope and Javier have christened their new arrival Leo.

It’s thought Spanish director Santiago Segura revealed the chosen moniker in the heat of the moment, as he told off the waiting press pack for quizzing him on the couple’s baby boy.

But realising his mistake, he quickly tried to backtrack, adding the name had not been confirmed.

'I know what you want and you don't understand why they don't come running to show off the baby and say, "Look, here's Leo,"' he chastised.

When quizzed if that was the name of Pen and Javier’s baby, he replied: 'Yeah, Leo. I think so. That's what I think I heard. But they haven't said anything.'

Oops.

Penelope gave birth to a baby boy on 22nd January, at the exclusive Cedars Sinai hospital in LA.

So far, a rep has spoken only to confirm the birth of the child. 'Penélope and Javier welcomed their first son into their family last week,’ a spokesman confirmed to People. ‘Both parents and baby are doing great.'

I do not see what its got to do with anyone else what these people call their children. Why can they not be left alone.

you say that but something made you click on this link and read the article! so people are obviously interested. Not saying they should be but its just a unfortunate result of being a celebrity! and the more they hide it the bigger deal it becomes!
