It's getting ever closer to the big day, and now Kate Middleton has officially left her family business, in order to focus on her future as a member of the royal family.
THE ROYAL WEDDING: ALL THE DETAILS!
Having been working as a project manager for her parents' party-planning company, a royal aide has confirmed that the bride-to-be left her position on Friday.
The 29-year-old worked alongside parents Carole and Michael Middleton on their online business Party Pieces, as website designer and photographer.
'She handed over her work to colleagues and is now preparing for her future life', said a royal spokespoerson, 'to concentrate full-time on becoming a member of the royal family.'
Kate is now dividing her time between her parents' home and Prince William's Wales cottage in the immediate run-up to the big day.
But once wed, the Queen has said that she wishes for the couple to stay out of the spotlight for the first two years of their marriage, until the Prince finishes his current posting with the RAF in 2013.
'The Queen knows there is enormous pressure when the heir of the throne marries,' said a palace spokesperson.
