It may well go down in history as one of the most copied styles of all time. But now famous Friend Jennifer Aniston has revealed she hated the layered ‘Rachel’ haircut, branding it one of the ugliest she’s ever seen.

Speaking to US magazine Allure, Jen has told how she was never a fan of the famous choppy ‘do, recreated time and time again during the last decade by stylists the world over.

'How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I've ever seen,' she revealed of her famous Rachel look. 'What I really want to know is, how did that thing have legs?'

But Miss Aniston maintains she’s not to blame for her hair mare, putting the responsibility firmly on the head of her long-time hairstylist Chris McMillan.

'I love Chris but he's the bane of my existence because he started that damn Rachel,' the Friends star joked.

Confessing she’s quite controlling over her famous luscious locks, she added: 'He thinks I'm a closet hairdresser. I'll take the hairdryer right out of his hands.

'He'll kill me for saying this, but I've surpassed him in that department. I'm faster with the blow-dryer.'

I used to think that haircut was so cute, but it does look dated now. She should be grateful that it in part contributed to making her the star she is now.

I used to ask for that haircut all the time at the salon, but it took me many disasterous trips to salons to find a hairdresser that could actually do the job right. Been going to her ever since!

I loved the cut and still do now... it's the colours as well as the shape... and she's so darn pretty!

I think Jennifer would look great with any haircut.....................she is stunning whatever. Very natural look which I strive every day to achieve and fail!
