Earlier this month, the Hollywood rumour mill spun into overdrive, following talk Blind Side star Sandra Bullock was dating heartthrob Ryan Reynolds. But now the star has rubbished rumours, speaking out about her non-existent romance with Ryan on the red carpet at Sunday’s Golden Globes.

Talk first surfaced that the famous pair could be an item, after they were spotted partying together in Texas on New Year’s Eve – just weeks after Ryan and actress wife Scarlett Johansson announced their split.

But now Sandra has rubbished the reports, claiming her Proposal co-star is just an 'amazing friend'.

‘I think there will be a collective sigh amongst women across the united States when I say he's not my lover,’ the 46-year-old joked, speaking to reporters on the red carpet at Sunday’s glittering Golden Globe Awards.

‘He's just an amazing friend for 10 years ... but I don't get his loving after dark.’

And after splitting with cheating husband Jesse James in March last year, Sandra revealed romance is definitely off the cards for now.

The star is currently shooting Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close with Tom Hanks, and with 1-year-old adopted baby Louis to content with, she joked ‘it's all I can handle.’

Sandra swept the board for her role in hit flick The Blind Side during award season last year, and has already confirmed she will be presenting at this year’s Oscars.
