Victoria Beckham pregnant with fourth child

It's the news we've all be waiting for - Victoria and David Beckham have confirmed that they are expecting their fourth baby.

The couple already have three children, Brooklyn, aged 11, Romeo, aged eight (who recently made the list of Britain's best dressed men) and Cruz, who is five years' old.

Posh, 36, has made no secret of her desire to add to their family. She said last year:

'I think one day, if we're blessed to have more children, it would be amazing.'

Well now it looks as though baby number four is on its way for the fashion designer.

A representative for the Beckhams has confirmed Victoria's pregnancy to People magazine and revealed that the baby is due in the summer.

One of the first to congratulate Posh and Becks was fellow singer and style icon Kylie Minogue, who posted a message of support on Twitter:

'WOW...congratulations to Victoria Beckham and David...fourth child on the way.'

We're with you, Kylie - congratulations Victoria!

I hope that she has a ballsy enough consultant to perform that 4th c-section. She was advised not to have another. It'll be extremely sad for her and her husband if she ends up having a hysterectomy, all because they hope they'll have a baby girl this time.

Jen - what a miserable, negative comment! And I take it you know the Beckhams personally, I mean you must do to know the content of personal conversations with her doctor and to know that they're only having another child to have a girl......or do you just believe everything you read in the paper? I say congratulations to both of them, it's lovely news.

I wish them well but I cannot say I gave it a second thought, so it's not the news I was waiting for.

What a miserable bunch! No I can't say it is the news I've been waiting my lifetime for, but I can say it is lovely news to hear! In a time when the news is filled with death and devastation, or footballers cheating on their wives, it is nice to hear some positive happy news for once. I wish them all the best for their new addition!

Congratulations! to the Beckhams..always lovely to hear some happy news for a change. So much negative gloomy news around at the moment. Dont know why people put up such negative comments, I dont personally know the Beckhams, but I wouldnt dream of writing nasty things about them or anyone else!

Its what she wanted and I agree with Colette...D oes Jen know her doctor well and studied her medical notes...or perhaps the gynaecologist text to advise her personally prior to press ...
Good for V....and for them all...wish her and he and boys well...Maybe explains why the house was taken off the market here and why D wants to play here and why the sudden loose dress....

Why can't people just be happy for others......it is not the news i was waiting for either and it makes no difference to me, but I hope it all goes well for them and they have a healthy happy pregnancy and child.

Having a fourth here too. Ballsy? No, four is nothing if you heal well, take care of yourself, space them out & have a wonderful ob-surgeon as I do & Posh no doubt does as well. Whatever happened to women wishing other women well?! Roooowwwwrr!
