Reese Witherspoon set to tie the knot with Hollywood agent Jim Toth

Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth engaged

A representative for Reese Witherspoon has confirmed that the Oscar winning actress and Hollywood agent Jim Toth are getting married.

'They are extremely happy,' a spokesperson for the star told Us Weekly.

Reese, 34, divorced her first husband, actor Ryan Phillippe in 2008 after seven years of marriage. The pair have two children, Ava, 10, and Deacon, aged six.

Jim Toth is an agent for Creative Artists Agency where Reese is a client, but it's thought that she is represented by another agent.

The couple began their romance in January, shortly after her split from Jake Gyllenhaal. They didn't go public with the relationship until March but Marie Claire had an inkling back in February (see our report, here).

Rumours that marriage was on the cards started earlier this month after Toth was spotted visiting some high-profile jewellers in LA. Reese made light of the speculation during a recent appearance on Entertainment Weekly, saying:

'My mom always texts me, like, 'Are you getting married?' 'I'm like, 'Mom, come on! You would know if I was getting married.'

We're sure Mrs Witherspoon was at the top of the list to share the couple's good news.
