Oh Taylor Momson, what have you done now? The sulky star has been put on an ‘indefinite hiatus’ from Gossip Girl, according to reports, after her off-screen antics angered staff on set.

It’s thought the risqué Pretty Reckless rocker – who’s appeared in just three episodes this season – will be temporarily suspended after next week’s episode, broadcast in the US.

No official reason has been given for her filming break, but moody Miss Momsen will reportedly be absent for at least four episodes, including the show’s dramatic midseason finale.

Rumour has it the 17-year-old star - who plays tearaway teen Jenny Humphrey in the hit – has annoyed Gossip Girl staff with her increasingly erratic behaviour.

Earlier this year, Taylor was branded a ‘brat’ by Project Runway star Tim Gun, who blasted her for being unprofessional when they worked together on the Gossip Girl set.

'What a diva! She was pathetic, she couldn't remember her lines, and she didn't even have that many,’ he said of acting with the star. 'I thought to myself, "Why are we all being held hostage by this brat?"

'I'd say: "You know young lady, there are hundreds of thousands of girls who are just as attractive and even smarter than you. Why are you acting like this show is a huge burden on you?"

'She was on her phone during every break, I wanted to tell her, "If you weren't on your BlackBerry, you could retain this stuff."'

Now it seems Taylor’s bad behaviour has finally caught up with her. Oops.

I think someone should give her a break. If gossip girl was the only commitment she had then fair enough but its not. She's currently in a quickly rising band that are about to go on tour plus she has her modelling career to focus on. She has a lot of responsinility yet all we hear in magazines and websites is complaints and people saying how she is a brat. Its gettin ridiculous to be perfectly honest

Well in response to the above. We don't hear about other celebs acting like this so the stories can't be totally fabricated. Lots of actors have other things going on but they still act professionally and treat others with respect so there's no excuse whatsoever.

In reply to Anon's comment, Taylor Momsen is not the only one in Gossip Girl with other commitments. Leighton Meester and Blake Lively have both worked on movies as well as Gossip Girl and Leighton is launching her music career as well. In case you didn't know, Leighton is also the spokesperson for Herbal essences and is to become the face of a Vera Wang fragrance set to be released in 2011.

In other words, Momsen is not the only one with other commitments and actually plays a much smaller part in the hit CW show than Leighton and Blake. The only difference is that Taylor wants to be her idea of a rock and roll rebel.

She's pathetic in my opinion, I heard about her claiming she's this huge rebel because of her childhood. Honey you couldn't even comprehend the harsh realities some people suffer in their childhoods and still refrain from flashing their vaginas all over the place and acting like it's 1991!

All I'm saying is leave the drama to Courtney Love, at least she's freakin' genuine.

I think people are hard on her. I agree, the girl can surely be a b*tch but come on, that's just how she goes through her rebellious phase. I'd rather see her do that than drugs like McCaulay or become alcoholic like Lohan or put on some Britney... Anyways, she just needed someone to put her back in her place and thats it, she got what she deserved and hopefully will return cause gossip girl without jenny isnt the same thing!
