The brunette beauty – who plays Charlotte York in the much-followed series – revealed she would love to reprise the role, but doesn’t think there’s anywhere new to go for the New York-based characters.

‘There are no plans that I know of but I would love to do a third film,’ Kristen revealed to the Mirror, adding that her three co-stars are also keen.

‘We all want to do it, I guess it's just figuring out whether it's the right thing to do and if we can move the characters forward any more.’

The US star – who is set to return to TV in book adaptation The Happiness Show – also opened up on her new role, silencing rumours her SATC pals could be set for cameos.

‘No, no, no,’ she joked. ‘We're not going to do that.’

Y A Y....

Whilst the 2nd film was a mishmash mess..stay in the States and do babies and stuff...
Would be great....I reckon they are disillusioned re the last attempt but ..go back to the basics and the New York atmosphere and u have a winner. The zest and vibe and wonderful feeling that u could do anything was lost in that last film...

I agree. Keep in in the city, normal stories about real life (SATC style reality I mean. Not MY reality!) Last movie was awful, I'd watch the girls any day, no need to cart them off to foreign climes. There were so many terrible insulting themes in the last one... no need for it! Keep it simple and we'll love it!
