Britain’s Got Talent superstar Susan Boyle is celebrating today, after becoming the first person ever to have two simultaneous UK and US number one album hits in under a year.

TALENT SHOW WINNERS AND LOSERS

The eccentric singer pipped Madonna, Elton John and even the Beatles to the post yesterday, when her new album The Gift shot straight to number one both sides of the Atlantic.

Go Susan!

‘I’ve never felt happier in all my life,’ the excited singer said last night. ‘This is an amazing result and one I never expected.’

And unsurprisingly Simon Cowell was ecstatic, calling the shy star ‘my superwoman,’ and adding: ‘She has once again defied the odds.
