Carey Mulligan spotted with Tom Sturridge after Shia LaBeouf split

Earlier this month it was rumoured Brit beauty Carey Mulligan had parted ways with Hollywood beau Shia LaBouf. Now it seems a new romance could be on the cards for Carey, after she was spotted sneaking out of Hollywood’s famous Chateau Marmont with with Tom Sturridge in tow.

The pair crept out of an exit and straight into a waiting car, but not before photographers snapped a few pictures of the unlikely pair.

This is the second time in recent weeks the pair have been spotted out and about together, fuelling rumours of romance between the two.

Just last week Robert Pattinson’s famous pal was spotted visiting Carey at Hollywood’s Best Western Hotel, where she has been staying since her split from Shia.



Despite being able to command millions of dollars for movies, the down to earth starlet seems quite at home in the £69-a-night residence, even joking about it in a recent interview.

‘I don't know why people are so down on the Best Western,’ she laughed. ‘They have the best sweet potato fries.’
Carey is said to have thrown herself into work following her split from Shia, and plans to return to the UK when she finishes filming her latest movie.

‘Things went from bad to worse. They broke up because Shia said they were both too busy with their careers,’ one insider revealed.

‘When Drive finishes filming she plans to return to the UK and split her time between her parents’ house in Buckinghamshire, and her brother Owain’s place in London.’
