David Arquette admits to fling in bizarre radio rant

Just yesterday, Courteney Cox and David Arquette announced their split, releasing a statement telling the world about the end of their 11-year marriage. And last night, in a bizarre move, David phoned into a US radio show, admitting he had been having an affair.

The scream star stunned listeners - and presenters - of the Howard Stern Show, by unexpectedly calling the station to discuss the split live on air.

Revealing that Courteney initiated the end of their marriage back in June - around the time of their 11-year anniversary - he said the Friends star told him: ‘I don't want to be your mother anymore.’

He added that they had been having an open relationship since then and made claims about their sex life, telling listeners they hadn’t shared a bed in ‘four months’.

‘She knows she's not f***ing me, and she's like, “Listen, I want you to be able to do whatever you have to do,”’ he said, appearing to slur his words slightly.

David went on to admit an affair with ‘that girl in the papers’, Jasmine Waltz, during his rambling rant, revealing she made him feel ‘pretty manly’.

'I did have sex with her one time, maybe twice,’ he said. ‘My sexual encounter made me pretty feel manly.'

But the sorry star denied having a relationship with the LA waitress, maintaining: ‘I don’t have a girlfriend.’

He also called Courteney ‘the greatest woman that’s ever lived’ during the impromptu interview, and reportedly said he hopes they can get back together in the future.

Meanwhile, Courteney – who has so far maintained a dignified silence on the split – was spotted in LA with friends, without her wedding ring.

He actually sounds dreadfully upset, drinking and made that anguished phone call to make himself feel better..it wont help...
What a mess yet again...Reckon the girl announcements were to bolster himself and hes feeling very bad...

Were there three in that marriage. Jennifer Aniston seemed to be around a lot with all her troubles, perhaps it got too much. Who knows.

re the J Anniston comment..this lot have been mates for years...I still think its possibly the want of a second child that didnt help..Prob a lot of stress and also career strain..who knows...I do know its a rotten shame for them.

I hope they work through it... It is a marriage. Hollywood couples are way to fast to just get divorced. Admirable that they made it 11 yrs. I'm hoping they making it many more 11 years.
