Taylor Swift opens up on Taylor Lautner break-up

Country singer Taylor Swift has revealed all on her break-up with Twilight heartthrob Taylor Lautner, telling how she sat metres away from her famous ex days after the split, and even penned a song about their relationship.

The two Taylor’s got together back in October last year after starring in romantic flick Valentines Day, and were spotted out and about on a number of cosy dates around Hollywood.

But their relationship wasn’t to be, with rumours their romance had hit the rocks soon starting to fly.

Now Taylor (Swift!) has spilt the beans on their split - although, of course, she’s not naming any names - telling how they were seated just metres away from each other at an awards show afterwards.

‘It was at an awards show and there had been this falling-out between me and this guy,’ she told New York magazine.

'I think both of us had so much that we wanted to say, but we’re sitting six seats away from each other, just fighting this silent war of "I don’t care that you’re here."'

But it seems the songstress was inspired by the incident, and went home to pen a song - reportedly The Story of Us - about the relationship.

‘I remember getting home and sitting at the kitchen table and saying to my mom, "It was like I was standing alone in a crowded room,"' she said.

‘That’s when my eyes glazed over and I got distracted and walked away to write. My mom is used to me doing that.’
