Robbie Williams on ruining his chances with Kylie

Robbie Williams has admitted he had a crush on Kylie Minogue when they recorded Kids in 2000, but ruined it by breaking into fits of giggles when she stripped for the video.

The singer, who recently reunited with Take That, says he wants to apologise to Kylie by telling all in his new book, according the Metro.

The Aussie star stripped down to a G-string for the shoot, but Robbie drunkenly laughed at her, after his plan to down Drambuie to settle his nerves ‘backfired’.

Rob claims he wasn’t told that Kylie would strip in the scene and the shock was enough to make him act like a ‘bit of a teenage boy’.

In biography You Know Me, the Angels singer reveals: ‘I think that any chance of anything disappeared when I laughed at her. Perhaps she likes being naked, but she probably doesn't enjoy being laughed at by some Stokie idiot.

‘I couldn't figure out why my banter wouldn't work, why my natural ability to just be myself went awry.'
