Davinia Taylor loses custody battle
Davinia Taylor, close friend of Kate Moss and a member of the notorious Primrose Hill set, has lost custody of her little boy.
The some-time actress and party girl, 32, has been involved in a bitter divorce battle with ex-husband David Gardner.
Today a judge ruled in Gardner's favour and awarded him custody of the couple's three-year-old son, Grey. The couple were officially divorced in July.
Gardner is David Beckham's best friend and both David and Victoria attended the couple's wedding in 2003.
Taylor, who had a role in teen soap Hollyoaks, denied the claims but has played up to her wild image. When asked if would always be a party girl in 2008, she said, 'It's better than being boring.'
The Daily Mail reports that Taylor's 'unreasonable behaviour' was cited as ground for the divorce, and that Gardener was also awarded a settlement around £1million.
Taylor is believed to have been given access to her son every other weekend.
Gardener, a football agent, is currently dating Campbell's Soup heiress Stephanie Dorrance, while Taylor is focusing on staying fit and healthy.

Custody battles like this benefit no one except the lawyers and the judges who get paid to be in court. The child is the victim caught in the middle. The family legal justice system is dramatically flawed. The person who wins is the person who "looks better" in court - no one has a right to judge who is the better parent - no one knows what goes on behind closed doors. As long as the child has regular contact with both parents he will be ok. Parent Alienation Syndrome is a common trait and has great affects on the child involved. A child needs to have access to both his parents. I feel sad for this mother that she is now a mother apart.
