Not impressed at all. Its dull as dishwater, can't see the attraction of the presenters - chemistry, what chemistry. BRING BACK GMTV or failing that get some presenters for this new show with some life in them.

I agree, GMTV was much better. the new set and the presenters have a modern sort of futuristic look not the homely and friendly one that we had before. will not be continuing to watch anymore.

I can't understand why they have kept Kate Garraway. Ben Shephard, and even Andrew Castle were more entertaining! No real change to GMTV but the new set is a little dull.

I'm finding the set a bit too dark and depressing, especially as we're heading into a colder season. I also miss Ben Shepherd, Emma Crosby and Penny Smith. They were so much more cheerful and smiley. Actually, what's happened to Emma Crosby? I hope she has a new job somewhere!

DayBreak is absolutely pathetic. The show hosts have no personality and the show is dry, dull and boring! Bring back GMTV, the presenters were fun, entertaining and had personalities. Christine may have the looks but nothing else! Penny and Kate were great.

In it's place, you've given us a drab effort & drabber presenters, which brings no colour into my morning.

I refuse to watch it, can't stand Smug and Smugger - I watch the ITV news at 5.30am and promptly switch to BBC at 6am. There was nothing wrong with GMTV - why fix it if it ain't broken??

Daybreak has not lived up to expectations at all. The branding is completely off the mark and did not refresh the brand but totally ruin it. I don't know if audience research was conducted but the existing viewers (as seen by other comments) will be lost, and you can't gaurantee new ones with the new presenters.

They are clearly trying to hard and don't have the general chit chat appeal.

Maybe a bit more bedding in time is needed, but the new agenda is awful - best story of the day vote and five of the day - seriously...I may have to result to the BBC.

I refused to even watch it. I cannot stand Adrian Chiles - not attractive to look at and that Brummie accest is hideous, nearly as hideous as the grating Northern Irish of his constant companion. GMTV got rid of all the presenters I liked except Kate - Emma, Claire Nazir, Ben, Andrew, even Richard. Thank God Lorraine still brings some sense at 8.30, even if she has had an unnecessary revamp.

I've switched to Sky News - at least Eamonn Holmes is cheerful without being patronising.

Not a scratch on gmtv & that was not brillant other than John Stapleton and few others. The couple are to flash and jokeamans for this sort of show which is about news and waht is going on. They are both very good at what they do but the directors of ITV have got it wrong in choice

This looks like 'This Morning' to me, except with unnappealing presenters. In terms of content, they may as well have not changed from GMTV, because it's exactly the same. They should have been braver and made a bigger step change, rather than offer this weird in-between show.

I was very disappointed by the format. I enjoyed the One Show but it doesn't work for morning TV. Presenters looked and sounded like it was their first attempt at presenting; the content was banal and the set was too sterile. What a shame!

I haven't enjoyed the new show so far, but it might grow on me in time. I really enjoyed GMTV - it was much more cheery, presenters were more enthusiastic, really likeable and fun. Think Daybreak seems to be trying to follow the BBC which I hated. So far I've been quite disappointed, especially after all the hype.

Watched it first day and promptly switched to BBC. Don't like that but it is better than Daybreak. What was wrong with GMTV? At least I get to work early now as I don't watch morning TV anymore. Never liked The One Show so why would I want to watch it first thing in the morning. Adrian Chiles is unwatchable and can't understand a word that Christine says. I was an avid GMTV viewer. Won't be watching this rubbish!

Most of us watch the show while we are getting ready for work/school etc. The set is so drab in its colour scheme, more a late night set. Adrian is boring,sorry,and Christine's personality does not come through as it did before. Definately does not enthuse you to wake up and be ready for the day ahead as GMTV did. I've now switched to BBC Breakfast with a bright set and people that are interesting to listen to.

What a disappointment! Please bring back GMTV. getting up and watching TV was the start i needed,watching GMTV was funny,colourful and everyone was fantastic,without even having to try. The setting does nothing, its dark and gloomy which wont be lifting anyones's mood or spirits and well those two look so formal and unrelaxed. GMTV was boring, the presenters were fake/biased (except for Penny and Ben)I only had it on for background noise in the morning, DayBreak's Adrian C tries way too hard to be funny, but I think it needs a little longer before we really know th personalities. BBC breakfast is good and will more often priovide you with real news. bring back the morning comedy shows, Evrybody Loves Raymond; King of Queens on C4!

Absolutely awful - unwatchable. Adrian is not a natural presenter with very little personality. He sit son the edge of his seat and reads the cue in a continual stare. I have switched channels already. GMTV was fab - this is painful to watch and listen to.

I could howl with rage at itv for taking a great show and ruining it. I used to switch on gmtv as soon as i woke up ,now i dont bother i'd rather watch paint dry. even lorraine isnt so funny, i think Adrian looks like he needs the toilet and Christine is just not watchable.

This is terrible television! Chiles can hardly read the auto cue,Pinnochio was more natural and had more personality than Bleakley and the weather girl umms and arhhs more than she actually speaks! These two made The One Show unwatchable! Who in the right mind could believe,replacing the warm, friendly, natural GMTV presenters, with these two bookends, would raise viewing figures?Whoever it was should be given a one way ticket to the dole queue!I used to turn GMTV on as soon as I got up, as the lively presenters helped me wake up,now im reduced to the BBC as I cant bear to watch this rubbish!!I may take others advice, and give Eammon a look!!Get rid of these two before all the money spent on the revamp is wasted as all viewers switch off!!

They never really did much on The One Show, just lots of fake laughing and muttering, this probably should have been researched more before ITV spent a bomb on them!!

GMTV never lived up to the excellent output from TVam. GMTV produced a dumbed-down, tabloid version of the news relagating the news to a 5 to 10 minute spot at the top of hour. The rest of the time was spent with minor celebrities who want to plug their latest book or film. GMTV's down-market approach to breakfast time made it a joke and I'm happy its gone.
However, the new Daybreak program looks to follow in the GMTV footsteps with the stupid telephone quizes and childish chitchat. It won't impact the Beebs breakfast program, which is far superior.
