It's over! Cheryl & Ashley Cole granted quickie divorce
By Lucy Hutchings on Friday 3 September 2010
It's all over for Cheryl and Ashley Cole, after the pair were granted a quickie divorce today to end their four-year marriage.
The couple separated in February this year, following a string of allegations that the footballer had been unfaithful.
Without either party present, the marriage was ended today at the High Court's Family Division in Holburn, with a decrees nisi granted, the Press Assosiation reports.
If neither Cheryl or Ashley object, the divorce will be fully finalised in weeks.

They have to wait 6 weeks and 1 day before they can make their divorce final. This is to allow time for anyone who objects to the divorce to tell the court why they object.
After 6 weeks and 1 day they can apply for the "Decree Absolute".
This means the divorce is completed and they are no longer married.
It's not over yet....
