In what would be her most risqué role to date Friends star Jennifer Aniston is reportedly considering baring all for the first time, and appearing topless for her part in upcoming indie flick, Wanderlust.

Reports suggest the star is set to strip down to play a 'free loving' married woman, who tires of modern life and moves to live in a hippie commune.

And that’s not all. It’s said the racy script will also see Jen take drugs, sleep around, and indulge in a threesome with two other women.

It is also set to star Jen’s Object of My Affection screen partner, Paul Rudd, and is already causing something of a stir in Hollywood.

The hotly-anticipated flick – produced by Judd Apatow of Knocked Up, Superbad and Get Him To The Greek fame – is a major move for Jen, who, up until now has starred in a string of safe romantic comedies including Marley and Me, and The Break-Up.

But after reports of new flick The Switch underperforming at the box office, some are citing Jen's racy new move as an attempt to drum up publicity, and get her career back on track.

They all end up stripping to boost their careers. Unfortunately for Jen, she's never done any 'meaty' roles that set her career up. She always does these sappy romcoms, which end up being a load of rubbish, she needs to ditch her agent so she gets better roles. She's a good actress, but her typecast fails to impress. She'll unfortunately end up going topless because they all do to get more publicity/money/exposure. Shame she's heading in the same direction, but she does have to do something to help her flagging career. I hope her next movie does well!

This role doesn't seem to be all about stripping down to me. There are lots of top actresses who have gone nude for roles, including Kate Winslet. I know the films from this director, and though they are comedies, they are never ultra superficial and truly well directed. So let's hope for Jennifer that this is indeed a 'good move', and will help her on her way to more hands on acting!
The best thing for her to get her acting career on track would be a role in a realistic drama type of film, but I think it's hard for her to been given a role like that, seeing that she is related to as a comedy actress because of her Friends history.
