Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox to reunite on screen

Friends BFFs Jennifer Aniston and Courtneney Cox are set to reunite on screen for the only the second time since the hit show ended, when Jen steps onto the set of Cougar Town next month.

Bosses have confirmed the Switch beauty will guest star in the hit US show during the season two premiere, when she’ll play a therapist, seen by Courteney’s character.

'She’s going to play Courteney’s shrink named Bonnie,' the show’s executive producer revealed to Entertainment Weekly.

'Kind of a get-too-involved-in-her-life-type of therapist. Those guys are so close in real life they kind of do that for each other anyway. Bonnie has the life [Courteney's character] Jules’ wishes she has.'

And it seems Jen and Courteney just couldn’t wait to get back on screen together.

'It starts and ends with Courteney and Jennifer being really great friends and excited to work together again—especially doing comedy together,' the screen boss added.

'Every day that those two talk they have more ideas about [the role]. It’s definitely something they’re both involved in creatively.'

Sadly, Jen’s walk-on part in the show – which will air in the US on September 22 - is for one episode only.
