We spy a celebrity feud in the making! Controversial former Gossip Girl Taylor Momsen has slammed songstress Rihanna, calling her a ‘rock wannabe’ and ‘really annoying’.

The moody teen also hit out at the music industry, calling the lines between rock and pop ‘blurred’.

‘People think pop is rock and the lines are getting blurred,’ she said in an interview with music magazine, Spin.

‘Now Rihanna’s wearing f***in’ leather jackets and it’s really annoying.’

Describing her look as 'high-class hooker,’ Taylor also spoke out on her controversial dress sense.

‘I dress for myself,' she said. 'Clearly, it's provocative, but it makes me feel good. And if the only reason it makes someone uncomfortable is because I'm 17, then that person's a scumbag because it shouldn't matter.’

Taylor is just jealous because she'll never be as pretty or as talented as rihanna. She can barely act and I'm sorry but she is a hater. I like pop,rock, reggae and country. And so what if rihanna experiments with rock and pop that's what a true artist does. And until u can sell half as many records as rihanna u better bow down. Because "THAT RIHANNA REIGN JUST WON'T UP".

Oh, so there should be a divide now? Whatever. There used to be one, until more adventurous singers did more adventurous music, young lady. Sounds to me like you just want a fight. A sixteen year old doesn't know that some things they say, they will regret having said those things by the time their in their twenties. As once you stop being a teen, you realise more and more things about life that you didn't know about as a teenager. A teen is just a stroppy version of a child. This girl just walks around, swearing, thinking it will make her more rock 'n' roll. It's just laughable, to be pretty honest. And chewing gum and wearing black-liner doesn't define being into the scene. It's much more than that. May i add that Rihanna has been around way longer than this little girl. Since when did Rihanna even claim she was trying to be a rock singer?

At least Rhianna isn't claiming to be a rock singer, unlike Taylor, who seems to think that her MTV music and leather jackets make her rock 'n' roll. If anything, it's Momsen who's the wannabe. Maybe she's just bitter because she doesn't have the same success as Rhianna? And who is she to talk about the lines between rock and pop being blurred, when she cannot grasp the concept that her music really isn't as brutal as she seems to think it is. Taylor should really just concentrate on a career in the pop sector, because she's giving rock and roll a bad name!

both of them suck. both are trying too hard. taylor is trying too hard to be a rock cliche and rihanna is trying too hard to hold on to her dying fame, by reinventing herself into something she isnt really on the inside.
