Welsh warbler Charlotte Church is poised for a pop comeback, and looked stunning as she posed to promote her new album, Back to Scratch.

Dressed in a gothic green, asymmetric dress and towering feathered heels, the lovely Miss Church looks in better shape than ever, showing off an enviable slimline figure in the new snap.

Described as 'multi-textured pop dynamite,' the songstress worked with a whole host of well-known writers and producers to come up with her grown up new sound.

And it seems some of the songs are based on recent events, with one even inspired by her split with fiancé Gavin Henson.

'It became the perfect song for my situation,’ Charlotte said of title track Back To Scratch, ‘so I sing it with a lot of conviction.’

Gorgeous! Sold to one buyer, that's for sure.

It's so nice to hear someone who can really sing, and whose voice doesn't need to be forced into tune by a whole load of technology.

I think this is a nice sound for Charlotte. Interesting acoustics, beautiful vocals, and a mature sound indeed!
Well done!!

Also, this song shows an authentic voice with a real performance quality.
This appeals to me a lot more than the computarised voices of the many of pop stars that cannot really hold a tune, packaged with dance moves to distract from the mediocre singing, that we see everyday.

Lovely clear melody, a refreshing change to the strangled sounds we hear from the current "Pop Divas" Well done Charlotte and good luck in your new start.

A really good performance sung with emotion. Charlotte has always been able to sing and she is now finding herself and her own style. I will definately buy the album. I liked the last one, but this one looks better. Good car music too as I do lots of driving.

Sounds lie the Charlotte of long ago early days..with a little bit of modern take...she is caught between the two..I have heard her belt out the pop song..so she can do it..but not sure about this..is very sweet and mayb a bit try to hard..dont mean this badly but dont know if it will hit the spot with many but the few...methinks she is trying to get back to her classical style somewhat...I just dont know but I wish her very well and lots of luck..shes certainly looking great ...good for her.

WOW!!! From what I heard of the song, it sounds just beautiful. So emotional and stirring. Cheryl Cole cannot accuse Charlotte of trying to steal Girls Aloud's sound now - that was just beautiful. Good luck, Charlotte.
