Baby joy for Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster
By Eleanor Young on Tuesday 10 August 2010
Rod Stewart is set to become a dad again at the age of 65, after revealing wife Penny Lancaster is expecting their second child.

The excited pair released a statement saying they were ‘delighted’ by the happy news.
'We were thrilled and delighted to be able to tell Alastair that he was going to be the big brother to a little baby, expected just before Mummy's 40th birthday,' Penny Lancaster said yesterday.
And friends reveal the couple – who were holidaying in Italy when they broke the news to friends and family – can’t contain their excitement.
'They are over the moon, they have wanted this for so long,' one source said.
'Even though Rod has got his bus pass, you would not realise that he is the age he is. He definitely wears it well and says that he still feels young.'

This will be the eighth child for rocker Rod, who’s brood ranges in age from 46-4.
Are you pleased to hear Rod and Penny are expecting? Or do you think the star is too old to become a dad yet again? Let us know your thoughts in the comments box below.
