The star made her first appearance since her malaria scare just days ago, looking happy and healthy as she took a trip to a Starbucks near her home in Surrey.

And yesterday Cheryl was spotted jetting off to the states with dancing pal Derek, who has barely left her side during her battle with the bug.

Looking fresh faced and healthy, the songstress opted for a comfy, grey jersey jumpsuit and flats for the flight, adding blacked out aviator shades as she made her way through the airport.

And despite her make-up free face, Cheryl seemed to be glowing with health.

She’s reportedly put on a stone in weight after battling the deadly tropical disease at home, after her mum nursed her back to health with roast dinners and other home cooked food.

Now the star's said to be increading her workload gradually, ahead of returning to the X Factor for the judges houses stage of the show.
