It’s been just months since her split from Gavin Henson, but already it seems a new romance could be on the cards for Charlotte Church. The star's been spotted on a string of outings with songwriter Jonathan Powell.

Miss Church joined the industry insider at Myleene Klass’s recent 30th birthday celebrations, held at the Robin Hood pub in Cardiff.

Charlotte even took to the stage for a spot of karaoke, and was later joined by the birthday girl herself, as well as ex-Hearsay band member, Noel Sullivan.

Showcasing her newly slim figure, Charlotte donned a slinky printed playsuit for the occasion, adding some statement gold jewellery and a slick of shimmery eyeshadow to complete the look.

The star and her new male friend partied until the early hours at their pal's birthday celebrations. But Charlotte’s camp have been quick to deny a romance, insisting the pair are ‘just good friends'.

Whatever their relationship, it seems the pair were a little worse for wear the morning after, and were spotted tucking into a greasy breakfast with a group of friends outside the city’s Cafe Brava.

‘She’s not really had a chance to let her hair down,’ one insider told the Metro.

‘She might have looked good but she felt rough the next morning – her head was splitting. There was only one thing for it – a good fry-up.’

What happened to love?Its just like changing clothes nowdays...how people move on so quickly is a mistery to me,and what about the children?how confusing must be for them.

Go Georgeous Charlotte! Just because she is a mum of two beautiful children, doesnt mean she cant have a good time. She has her own life too. Her children are obviously well taken care of and very happy - she deserves to smile and has the balance right! x

all the comments above is right. Right in different situations and only the person, in this case, Charlotte, will know what is best for her.

yes, this guy is better looking than her ex.
yes, people move quickly from relationship - but who knows what went on before the split, who know how long they tried to hold on their relationship before the split between themselves out of the spotlight?
and Yes as a single mum she has the right to have fun as far as her children is well looked after. After all her ex was somewhere by the beach with the 'lads' and girls and no one made a comment or asked for comment.

Can well agree with ESTER and anon - this is the throwaway society - don't like -just dump and find a new one!!! I only hope we shan't start seeing her drunk on the streets and falling out of night clubs - you can only drink so much when you're in your teens, you're a big girl now Chas and you have kids! Just goes to show, you should wait till you marry and know your mind for sure before you start having kids!!!!

Why can't they be just good friends? She's just split up with someone, that's a time we all need our friends to take us out for a good time and get us feeling good about ourselves again. If it ends up being more, good for them.
