Katie Price’s single fails to reach top 40

Katie Price’s latest single Free to Love Again flopped in the charts yesterday, failing to reach the top 40, and coming in a sorry number 60 on the top music list.

Despite cutting short her honeymoon to promote her single on GMTV, the record sold a measly 3,000 copies, with radio stations deeming the track ‘not credible’ enough to play.

And it seems the sad sales figures have put Katie - who’s already admitted she can’t sing or dance – off a trying to launch a full-time music career.

'There are no plans for her to do another single at the moment,' an official told the Mirror, yesterday, amid rumours music was a last ditch attempt by Katie to restart her failing career.

And if her lack of single success wasn’t bad enough, Miss Price landed herself in hot water for other reasons yesterday, turning up late for a charity polo match, and forcing her team to scrabble around for a last minute replacement.

Despite trying her best to gain access to Prince Harry, who was also at the match, Jordan was kept firmly out of the VIP area, reportedly leaving polo buffs wondering about her talent.

'She looked like she’d never been on a horse before, never mind played polo,' said one insider.

‘She did manage to score one goal but that was from a free hit she was given about ten yards away from the goal. Apart from that she looked really out of her depth, hopeless even. It really put paid to her talk of going to the Olympics!'

And who were the sad 3000 people who bought it - lol. She looks so uncomfortable singing, totally cringe worthy stuff. She should stick to what she's good at which is... sorry can't think of anything ;)

I think her song speaks honesty and 1 thing she has got going for her is that she says it as it is, doesnt say something she doesnt mean. Pity a lot more people wouldnt start doing that - bit of straight talking

This is VERY amateurish!!
I have never seen a singer so amateur on TV before. She looks totally uncomfortable performing and moving, and the singing looks very fake, and the voice is clearly pimped up with computer tricks to make it sound acceptable.
This looks like a cheap record from the early 90's, but then performed by non-professionals. I cannot say anything else about this...

I don't understand that if somebody is so clear that she cannot sing or dance well, that she than still has such desire to do it! Really strange and deluded!!

Why didn't she just stick to being a page 3 model if she at least enjoyed that and obviously did well in that profession. Or find something else that is genuine. Why try to be something you're not?

I will say yet again that its not that bad and there are some horrors out at moment and repetitive lines!!!!! A certain one comes to mind!!! I agree with Jennie....
She sure needs to clear her head re men though...
Thing is whatever the girl does ..noone will give her a chance as she has made some boobs.(not those ones) and said some dire stuff.but it is all posturing and protection of self..I think...O enuf ...
There are far worse CDs out there at moment...
