Jennifer Aniston's found herself in hot water in the US, amid rumours she's dating married True Blood star, Christopher Gartin.

The famous Friends actress was spotted stepping out with Chrisopher for the first time last week, when snappers caught the pair sharing dinner and champagne at LA's swanky Sunset Tower Hotel.

At the end of the evening, the shy twosome did their best to escape the scene unnoticed, dashing straight into a waiting car.

But pictures of the pair slouching in their seats later emerged, with Jen covering her face in an effort not to be pictured.

And now rumours suggest the stars could have been dating for up to six weeks, and might even have been set up by Jen's BFF, Courteney Cox.

Courteney met Jen's rumoured new man after his soon-to-be ex-wife - who is a wedding planner - took charge of her nuptials to David Arquette in July 2000.

Christopher and his wife reportedly separated in March, and are in the process of finalising their divorce.

Even if she is dating him, it sounds like he won't be married for much longer, so I don't see anything wrong with it.

I don't understand why this is considered newsworthy - there's nothing wrong with dating someone who will soon be divorced - and if they split in March & Jen has been dating him for 'up to six weeks' then where's the problem?

Wasn't Pitt legally separated (pending divorce) when he was photographed with Jolie in Africa? Maybe a little double standard going on? At least Jolie wasn't Anistons good friend like this guys very recent ex wife.

Let me see if I have this right. Aniston's mindless brigade has spent the last FIVE years castigating Jolie because a married, CHILDLESS, Pitt fell in love with her and they started dating AFTER his divorce. But it's perfectly FINE for Aniston to date a MARRIED MAN WITH TWO CHILDREN???? Can someone please give her mindless "fans" a course in logic and hypocricy?

Jennifer would never do anything to hurt anyone. So his marriage must be over and he is a free agent and what a cutey. Wish her luck and hopefully he doesnt hurt her.

(Blinks) It says above that the couple separated in March and the divorce is pending. Folks, that means they are 'still' technically married. For the record, Jennifer Aniston filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in March of 2005. Brad flew to Africa at the end of April 2005 and their relationship started. Doesn't sound any different from what Jennifer is now doing, and the man she's dating has two kids. At other sites insiders in the ex-wife's camp are claiming Jennifer is the cause of the split. This really is a double standard. But due to the antics of Jen-Hens over the past five years, I'm not the least surprised.
