Javier Bardem is Glee's newest star

Calling all Gleeks! Gorgeous Javier Bardem has confessed his love for the hit US show, and is set to become Glee’s newest star.

SEE THE STARS OF GLEE HIT THE RED CARPET!

The Oscar winner and huge fan of the musical show will take up a role as a rock star who befriends Artie, in the exciting second series.

Gorgeous Javier loved Glee so much, he reportedly even watched the entire first season in one week, before begging the director to give him a part.

Mr Bardem's then rumoured to have pitched the idea to Glee creator, Ryan Murphey, who he’s worked with on a number of other occasions.

‘We’re going to rock the house,’ the Spanish star told Entertainment Weekly of his brand new role.

‘We’re going to do some heavy metal — Spanish heavy metal, which is the worst.’
