Kate Hudson and Matt Bellamy prepare to meet the parents

They've been pretty private about their relationship so far, but Matt Bellamy has finally lifted the lid on his blossoming relationship with Kate Hudson.

And someone's got it bad....

'Things are going great at the moment,' the singer told the Daily Mirror. 'I'm very happy.'

Kate was spied hitting Glastonbury last month to support her new rockstar boyfriend, and the pair reportedly had thier own VVIP tent away from the prying eyes of the press and public. 

'We had such a good time at Glastonbury. We just have fun together and are seeing how it goes,' he gushed.

'Kate is great. We are trying to keep things private, so we haven't told anyone how we met or any details like that. We're just doing our own thing.'

And he didn't stop there, revealing that he's meeting his lady's A-list mother next week.

'I haven't met Goldie yet,' he said. 'We are meeting up next week. I'm quite nervous. You don't want her reading daft stories about you online - it's embarrassing when you meet someone's family for the first time.'

Ahh, bless. Well we wish him luck!

Emma: Matt and Gaia split up MONTHS ago. He announced it in December but some reckon it was earlier than that.

He made a comment about marriage :/ God no! That'd be awful :/

It's a little bit too soon to talk about weddings and stuff. Ask me again in a few months though. I'll let you know how it went with Goldie - and then who knows? - Matt Bellamy
