Twilight premiere mania hits LA as fans camp for days

Twilight mania has hit LA, with hundreds of fans setting up camp four days before the Eclipse premiere in the hope of catching a glimpse of the film's leading trio - Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

With the big event not taking place until Thursday night, the most eager will spend 96 hours straight sleeping on the street outside the Staples Centre, with many setting up tents, while others have rocked up with little more than a blanket. 

Now that's what we call dedication...!

Glance about and you'll spot endless R-Patz cut-outs, Taylor duvets and K-Stew posters decorating the camp, while many of the Twi-hards are spending their days creating elaborate banners to catch the attention of their idols.

LA is set to be the only premiere where the entire cast will hit the red carpet, with the film's three leads confirming that they will not attend the London event, which takes place on Thursday 1st July.
