LATEST: Robert, Kristen and Taylor won’t be at Eclipse UK premiere

Movie bosses have today revealed Twilight's three biggest stars - Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner - won't be attending Eclipse's UK premiere.

In an announcement this morning, disappointed UK fans were told instead they'll get to see Cullens Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed, werewolves Booboo Stewart and Alex Meraz, and newcomer Xavier Samuel.
Instead Kristen, Rob and Taylor will welcome fans to Leicester Square with a specially recorded video message.
Oh dear.
The UK Gala Premiere will be held on July 1, and Eclipse will open across the rest of the UK on July 9.

Oh I'm so annoyed. How come they have time to traipse all the way to Australia, but not to come to London. UK fans will be so disappointed - who wants to see a video link?!

How lame. I hope any fans with tickets are allowed refunds. What can they be doing that is more important that their own premiere? Especially Rob, seeing as he is British.

Lame! Are they trying to tell us something about what to expect in the film? It's the weakest book in the saga so I hope the film is good.

I used to live in London and have seen all the people that wait in Leicester Square for the premieres, the fans that give people like Rob, Kristen and Taylor a career. Premiere dates are set months in advance and there should be no reason short of a personal emergency that stops them from giving something back to the people that essentially pay their huge wages.

Totaly agree with you Helen but when people get famous the forget the fans, they are so quick to attend their other film premieres and asking fans to go and watch these films lets hope their popularity still stands once the twilight saga is over, if not they will only have themselves to blame if fans dont support them as its mostly twlight fans who go and watch their other films.
