Alicia Keys announces she's engaged and pregnant

Alicia Keys has revealed she's engaged, and already expecting her first baby.

The proud mum-to-be - who got together with her boyfriend, rapper Swizz Beatz in 2008 - made the exciting announcements ahead of a red carpet appearance at a charity gala in London.

And last night reps confirmed the happy news to American magazine People, saying the loved-up couple ‘are expecting a baby'.

A spokesperson also added the pair are ‘engaged to be married in a private ceremony later this year.'

A friend of the couple said they are ‘very happy' at the prospect of a new addition to the family.

And as radiant Alicia stepped out at the glittering Keep A Child Alive Black Ball in London last night, a blossoming baby bump was already visable under her lavender Dolce & Gabanna gown.

This will be Alicia's first child, while her hubby is already father to Kasseem Jr., 3, and son Prince Nasir, 9.
