Sex and the City ladies sing on soundtrack!
By Lucy Hutchings on Thursday 22 April 2010
Is there no end to the talents of the Sex and the City ladies? Not content with just acting in the latest movie, the quartet have recorded a track for its soundtrack, too!
Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon join the likes of Alicia Keys, Dido and Jennifer Hudson, in lending their vocal talents to the SATC 2 music line-up.
The four actresses have recorded a version of Helen Reddy's I Am Woman for the film, which could perhaps be the product of karaoke scenes spotted in the trailer.
Other surprises on the list include a Liza Minnelli version of Beyoncé's Single Ladies and Alicia Keys covering Blondie's Rapture.
And while Jennifer Hudson might not be reprising her role from the first movie, she is back vocally at least, with a duet on the soundtrack alongside Leona Lewis.
We could not be more excited!!

Brilliant idea of a sequel to the first movie. How they deal with marriage, babies and relationships, all the things they wanted for ages. Can't wait and will be buying the album to the soundtrack too.
