Hot new couple alert! Gorgeous Daisy Lowe stepped out with a brand new man at the weekend, and it was none other than Dr Who newbie, Matt Smith.

Onlookers saw the coy celebrity pair wandering hand-in-hand around music-fest Coachella.

The loved-up twosome were also spied snuggling up in the VIP area, and having drinks with friends.

And it seems the pair were in no mood to hide their blossoming romance during the three-day festival in California.

'They couldn't get enough of each other and Matt didn't want to leave her side,' said one insider.

'Laughing and whispering into each other's ears, they didn't seem at all fazed by people watching them.'

Handsome Matt Smith - who recently split with Brazilian girlfriend Mayana Moura - has made no secret of his crush on lovely Lowe, and now it he's landed the girl of his dreams.

'Daisy Lowe's a pretty lady, someone lovely with a good heart who enjoys the things I enjoy,' Matt said just last month.

But it seems Daisy's new love interest might not be that new.

Reports suggest the pair could have been dating in secret for up to three months, but have tried to keep their romance under wraps.

‘It's early days but they are already talking about moving in together,' one source told the Sun.

‘They realised it was terrible timing with his debut in the show, so they went to great lengths to keep it a secret.

‘It wasn't even planned that they would reveal the relationship at Coachella - but Daisy has missed Matt while he was on the tour and they thought, 'what the hell?''

Matt Smith's head looks like a brick. Personally I don't think Daisy Lowe's particularly great looking either but still I wish them the best of luck - we all deserve to be happy.
