Mel Gibson splits from Russian girlfriend

Hollywood superstar Mel Gibson has split from his Russian girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, just five months after their daughter was born.

Mel is said to have ‘drifted apart' from Oksana shortly after the birth of their baby daughter Lucia.

This comes just one year after the break-up of his 30-year marriage to wife Robyn, who filed for divorce after learning of his infidelities.

Reports suggest Mel and Oksanda have parted company on less than friendly terms.

It's alleged Gibson ditched the Russian beauty - who is 15 years his junior - after a heated row in which she accused him of going back on his agreement to marry her.

And it seems a split may have been on the cards for weeks.

Rumours that their relationship had turned sour have been gathering pace since Oksana failed to attend the big Easter opening of the Holy Family Chapel Mel built near Malibu.

But Friends of the couple maintain the split is entirely amicable, and they plan to raise their daughter together.

‘They're both working hard on their careers and trying to raise a sweet baby together. They're still friends and they'll both raise Lucia together,' said one.

I hate Mel Gibson, he's a staunch Catholic and insists how deeply religious he is yet he has a drink problem, cheats on his ex-wife and hates Jews? That is a devout hypocrite, not a devout Christian.

Im confused..he must be!!!!
That is one weird religious belief he has....
Hes just a player with a drink prob and its so very sad as his films were always good and fun...bar the last one..which was appalling.

She probably gave birth just to secure her marriage t a rich famous guy just like many Eastern European women do, and he's a serial cheat. That's what happens when a woman tears someone's family apart, same might happen to her.

its a shame that mel missed out on his lovely wife of 3o years and 7 children for a younger woman that only needs fame and money. i don´t blame the woman though, mel would have been wise enogh to say ´NO, I AM MARRIED, i dont want to cheat on my wife instead cheating on his wife without thinking about thier 20 years of marriege. he is am idiot

to joop - it is 30 years of marriage Mel has chucked away!!!!Maybe he thought having another baby with a younger woman would bring him happiness.What goes around comes around, I'm still waiting for my husband of 32 years to come to his senses and leave his floozy - who broke up our marriage 9 years ago - but with both of them ensconsed in a house with a mortgage - will not be so easy to get out of!! I bet h's miserable too - he had money with me and lots of holidays, but I hear he's struggling and our kids suffer as he never helps them with any money they need!!!!
