A nanny who used to work for Heather Mills has told an employment tribunal that she made her life a misery.

Sara Trumble is currently suing Heather over constructive dismissal and sex discrimination.

The 25-year-old told the court that she was brought to tears by Heather's demands, and felt she was given no choice but to leave her job.

‘She wasn't sympathetic or supportive,' said Sara. ‘Heather can be generous, but there's also an unpleasant side.'

'She likes to surround herself with people who will support her blindly. She is also very highly strung. I do believe that Heather is more than capable of lying and getting others to lie for her.'

The former-nanny told the tribunal that at first, Heather treated her as a friend - even buying her a car as a thank you gift - but that her employee's demeanor changed dramatically when Sara announced that she was pregnant.

Miss Trumble described how Heather humiliated her in front of other staff, and complained when she took time off to deal with a difficult pregnancy.

Sara then claimed that Heather eventually brought in a replacement nanny from America, and tried to give Miss Trumble cleaning duties instead - giving her no choice but to resign.

Heather was present at yesterday's hearing in Ashford, Kent, and was clearly angered by her ex-staff's testimony - with her lawyer describing the accusations as ‘unwarranted attacks.'

Sara took up her position as nanny back in 2004 - when Heather and Sir Paul McCartney were still married.

After the couple's high-profile separation in 2006, Miss Trumble continued to work for Heather, with whom she had a ‘personal relationship.'

Sara told the court that after she gave birth in 2007, Ms Mills left her an angry message, asking when she would be returning to work.

‘It was a really horrible, rude message and it reduced me to tears,' she said.

The tribunal was also read a reference written by Sir Paul, which described Sara as ‘trustworthy and reliable.'
