Oops! Katie calls Alex ‘Pete’ on live TV as she chats wedding plans

Uh oh... Poor Katie Price suffered the ultimate slip-up on live television yesterday, when she accidentally referred to her new husband Alex Reid as ‘Pete.'

The glamour model was talking summer wedding plans to hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on ITV's This Morning when she uttered the words, ‘mine and Pete's' in reference to the upcoming nuptials.
She then hurriedly corrected herself with: ‘I'm sorry, I mean mine and Alex's.'
Ouch. We'll bet Mr Reid wouldn't have been too pleased to hear her say that...
Katie split from her former husband Peter Andre back in May last year, and tied the knot with her new cage-fighter man Alex only nine months later - in a quickie ceremony in Vegas in February.
The mother-of-three was on the show to discuss her plans to renew her wedding vows in a big summer ceremony.
‘Because our friends and family couldn't be there' she explained.
‘The only place we could get married was Vegas, because you have to be divorced a certain amount of time to get married her, abroad, anywhere... so Vegas was the only place to go.'
‘We are doing like a blessing in the summer because we want all our family there,' she continued.
Katie also confirmed her controversial plans to release a make-up range for children.
‘I'm doing children's make-up and Princess isn't the face or fronting it,' she said.
‘It'll be no different to what they sell at Toys R Us - it'll be edible and safe.'
Katie came under fire earlier this year for posting pictures of her two-year-old daughter wearing fake eyelashes and lipgloss on Twitter earlier this year - prompting outrage from Peter Andre.
‘The amount of times I go to get my lip liner and it's blunt because she's been there trying it on or drawing on the mirror with it,' she defended. ‘But that's just a child. All my friends' daughters do it.'

I suggest that was no 'slipup' that was purposely done for more headlines...I bet..Poor poor Alex...get out now man!!..even if it wasnt..Pete is on her mind by all accounts..Didnt this scenario happen in Friends recently with Ross ..saying ..I take u Rachel???...AND as for the makeup..well....
we know it was for publicity the other day but a child makeup line is always going to be the one that makes children grow up quickly and I wonder what age group it is intended for too.
Little girls etc using mummys makeup in long ago dressup days is not the same nowadays what with the highheels re Tom Cruises littleone and all the mini adult 'kiddie girlie ' clothes I reckon..What would u reckon on yor magazine hmmmmm I wonder.

I dont know what everyones problem is. All kids try makeup on. I have a little boy and he does it. Its just a fascination for them but because its Katie everytone makes a big deal. Is everyone bored or somet

All presenters make slip ups but since we don't see the edits we don't know, shame she was on live tv. Good luch with the make up range Katie - the critics are just jealous they didn't dream it up first.

There's a big difference between letting your child try on a bit of lippy and eyeshadow, and glueing fake lashes on, or even using mascara. That picture is horrific

Kids may try make up in their own home but to post pictures on twitter where all types of people can see them - the same as on here! Anyone would be able to look at this and I think it is awful! In this day and age you have to protect your children from the awful people that are about and really she should be made aware of it. They must want their bumps feeling too getting married so soon after a split - it doesnt give you time to get over it and feel better I'm sorry Katie but its doomed!

Oh God, really this isn't such a biggie. She will have been used to saying Pete's name for years now and seeing it everywhere she is. I was married to my husband for 18 years and have to admit that still sometimes use his name when talking to my new partner. This IS NOT for any other reason than it's a name I've used a lot, like my mum still calls me by her sisters names. It's a slip up - nothing else.

I don't think this slip up was deliberate at all. Not everything Katie does is for publicity. It's a mistake anyone can make at any time, it just happens she made it on live TV! My mum is always calling me by my sister's name by mistake. I understand it will cause Alex Reid concern, being her new husband, but he has to accept that Pete is the father of Katie's children and therefore will always be in her life, like it or not. Leave the poor girl alone!

Katie Price will and always has done anything for money and fame, Simple! She doesn't care what anyone thinks of her, either that or she is very stupid. Wedding to Alex, then wants a baby straight away. Let's hope she has a girl that she can put that horrible make up on. I loved playing with Mom's make up most little ones do and there's nothing wrong with that, but creating a range so kids can wear it, could make it become a normal thing to see little girls with make up on all the time. Vile!

katie, i always say everybody makes mistakes, that's why they put rubbers on to the end of a pencil.
Good luck with the make-up range i'm sure it will be amazing.

I think there's a big difference between a bit of lip gloss and sticking false lashes to a small child. Jordan says all her friends' daughters do it, that's probably because her friends are as empty headed as she is. I don't know who I feel more sorry for, the kids, Pete or Alex.
