Victoria and an injured David Beckham jet back to the UK

David and Victoria Beckham have returned to England, where the injured footballer will recover from emergency surgery on his achilles tendon.

Posh rushed to the side of her hubbie, who underwent an operation on his left foot two days ago in Finland. The couple then flew yesterday by private jet back to their Hertfordshire home.

Looking glum, Becks was helped into a waiting car by his doting wife, who although on nursing duties, looked as styled-up as ever, in a shaggy fur jacket and oversized shades. 

Beckham ripped his left achilles while playing for AC Milan on Sunday night. The injury means that he will miss playing in June's World Cup, and will be sidelined for the next six months.

Good use of private jets here by the Beckhams! - they could not have flown directly from London to Turku on scheduled airlines. To take a private charter return London - Turku would cost around EUR 18,000.

Yes, because they're so short of cash...!
I think highlighting the enormity of their carbon footprint would be slightly more valid.

they flew with Executiveskys a UK based charer company, cost about 7k and they also pay for their carbon footprint by planting trees.

I suggest they both just wanted to get back home quickly and avoid too much pap...
Hes obviously p......d off to the hilt and shes in for it with the misery for the foreseeable future I guess...O well...these things pass aided by a large dob of cash...I suspect..
