Sandra Bullock's husband accused of affair

Sandra Bullock should be on cloud nine following last week's Best Actress Oscar win, but instead, she's been rocked by sordid claims that her husband, Jesse James, enjoyed an 11-month affair with a tattoo model.

The woman in question, Michelle McGee, has sold her story to US magazine In Touch, claiming that she started seeing James while his wife was away on location in Atlanta, filming her award-winning performance in The Blind Side.

McGee revealed to In Touch: 'I would never have hooked up with him if I thought he was a married man. He gave me the impression they were separated.'

She went on to claim that she and James met up on a weekly basis, and then when she asked him about Sandra he claimed: 'She doesn't live here. She has a house in Austin. She is filming, and I can't talk about it.'

In the wake of the allegations, Sandra has cancelled a trip to the UK, where she was due to attend the London premiere of The Blind Side next Tuesday. The red carpet event will not be going ahead, and a screening will be in its place.

No official comment is yet to be given by either Bullock or James' people - let's hope there's no truth in this unpleasant story.

I find it so sad that such a lovely and talented actress should have a husband like that. Why is it always the decent ones.
