Kate models Moss-quito net dress for Sport Relief
By Sarah Karmali on Monday 15 March 2010
Kate Moss has shown her support for Sport Relief 2010 by modeling a dress made partly out of recycled mosquito nets.
The super is seen donning the striking strapless creation by hot British talent William Tempest, in a series of shots for the charity campaign.
And la Moss is urging people to get involved and donate money to the cause, as giving just £5 can buy someone a life-saving mosquito net - one of the most cost-effective methods of preventing the spread of malaria.
‘I was shocked to hear that one child dies from malaria every 30 seconds,' says Kate. ‘That's why I was happy to be involved in this important project for Sport Relief.'
The corseted, panelled dress has been created in Tempest's signature structured style - and was inspired by architecture set against the skyline, and the way it shimmers in the sun.

‘William Tempest's dress, which incorporates recycled malaria nets, is absolutely gorgeous,' continues Kate.
‘I loved wearing it and working with William. It's a great way of raising awareness of the seriousness of malaria, a disease which is both preventable and treatable.'
‘Donating just £5 can pay for a net which helps protect from potentially fatal mosquito bites that spread malaria.'
The dress is set to be auctioned-off to raise money for charity in the near future.
