Why does Robert Pattinson want to be like J-Lo?

We would never have pegged Robert Pattinson as a Jennifer Lopez fan, but the actor has revealed that he wants to try and emulate her success.

Having conquered the world of the silver screen as vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga franchise, Rob is now keen to promote his lesser-known music talents...

But, what with such a busy filming schedule, he's worried he won't have time to put it into practice and record an album.

‘I kind of want to do one at the end of the year - all my friends are recording albums and I'm very annoyed about it, but I can't do two things at once,' he told Parade.com.

‘I don't know how people like Jennifer Lopez can act and also sing. I'm just like, "I can't'' he continued.

‘But hopefully, I'll find some time to get it together.'

And if life after Twilight doesn't hold much in the way of juicy acting roles, then at least he'll have something to fall back on...

‘Music is my back-up plan if acting fails. I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket,' he said.

Oh, to be so mulit-talented!

Hon, your acting is failing already. The Remember Me is a disaster.Good luck with singing. If J.LO. is your idol- you are less classy from what is expected of you. She uses her butt and you will propably use your honky vampire reputation. Sad.

I didn't know that one can call acting what she does in movies.
Her low self-esteem she only can compense with wearing dead animals, so I'm sorry but, Rob is already a few steps higher on the job ladder. Should be no problem for him to manage all this.
