Shame he didn't say that to the press when him and Cheryl were selling their Wedding and their souls to the glossies, or when they did that cheese on toast ad for the National Lottery. When you use your marriage as PR tool you have to expect everyone to be just as interested when it goes downhill, I would never speak about my relationship to the press because it will come back and haunt you.
I feel sorry for Tess Daly, she rarely speaks about her marriage and lives quietly with her family, she has been very dignified throughout the whole sh*tty episode.

His problem stems from his issues of identity (note Tiger Woods). If he were confident in himself he would not have dated&married a woman who could freely use racial insults and has half her family incarcerated. Leopards don't change their spots! IN my opinion she saw Cole as an entree into celebrity world where she could seek to be the next Vicky Beckham. He was probably so dim he could not see the plan that Cheryl and Mum had hatched. The problem of "playing away" footballers in terms of their personal lives is easily solved. The football managers and football team executives around the world need to firm up a protocol on this. If all agreed "zero tolerance" on extra marital affairs then that would be that, there would be no where else to go, and likely the end of the highly paid footballer's career. This sounds tough, and would put much of the media out of the business of reporting the "fling" stories, but there it is, if the football organisations internationally stamped out the possibilitity of extra marital flings of all kinds, then that would be that, forever.

Wonder if Cheryl might actually consider singing live for once now she has given Ashley the boot? Given she is supposed to be singing at the V festival this year, she'd better learn unless she wants a few bottles slung at her. I have no sympathy for Ashley but little for her either - it takes two to tango and two to make or break a marriage, you don't hear everything in the media - I'm getting sick of hearing about the pair of them.
