Jay-Z: I created the 'Single Ladies' dance

Rapper Jay-Z has taken credit for Beyonce's Single Ladies dance, claiming he choreographed it himself.

The diva's hubby was appearing on the Jonathon Ross show when he made the startling admissions.

He praised his lovely wife's shows, saying: ‘She's a magnificent performer,' but explained that she couldn't be in London with him as she was busy with her tour.

He then went on to talk about Bea's dance moves, claiming he was behind some of her most well known routines.

But luckily we don't think he was telling the truth.

‘The Crazy in Love 'Uh-oh' dance, I started that.' he joked.

‘I actually created that dance from Single Ladies. That was me again. I said, 'You should do this [the hand-wave motion],' and she did it. I wouldn't really tell anybody. It's what you asked me, so I don't want to make it seem like I'm making myself more important.'

He also admitted stealing routines from his superstar wife, but we just can't imagine it somehow!

The notoriously private rapper seemed in a great mood all evening, joking with Jonathon and the audience.

‘You're my guy,' he laughed to Ross. ‘Obama. You.'
