Glee cast to sing for the Obamas
By Lucy Hutchings on Tuesday 23 February 2010
The Glee phenomenon is showing no sign of slowing down, with news that the cast has bagged its biggest gig to date - at the White House.
The stars of the hit musical show have been invited to perform by First Lady Michelle Obama, at the President's annual Easter Egg roll, and Entertainment Weekly has confirmed they have accepted.
The show has seen massive success on both sides of the pond, scoring hit singles in both the US and UK charts and picking up an array of awards, including a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild.

Plus, the second season is already promising to be star-packed. Hollywood's finest are reportedly waiting in the wings for a guest appearance, with rumours suggesting Julia Roberts, Julianne Moore and Jennifer Lopez are all in the running for cameos.
Glee creator Ryan Murphy even hinted that the Queen of Pop herself might make an appearance: 'We are shooting right now a Madonna episode... she may or may not be in the show.'
