Cheryl Cole had a tough night at the Brit Awards yesterday, performing Fight For This Love just days after cheating allegations about her hubby surfaced.

And it's been reported that the sad star hid away in her dressing room all evening, refusing food and cancelling her interviews.

But it seems the songstress cheered up enough to deliberate over her costume choices.

Cheryl Tweeted pictures of herself in various different ensembles as she waited backstage for her performance.

Early in the evening, the star posted a snap of her in some seriously sparkly embellished Louboutins teamed with a snuggly leopard-print dressing gown, with the caption: 'Cheryl's hot Brits look. Louboutins and dressing gown.'

We're not sure we can see that one catching on!

And after testing various options, Miss Cole added another picture of herself in a glittering bold-shouldered ensemble, with the caption: 'Shoes have gone. It's all about shoulders now.'

And we must say, she looked fabulous!

Wow, would've loved to see the full picture of that silver outfit - it looks like it could be pretty spectacular. It's such a shame she didn't feel like she could walk the red carpet.

Both look pretty, but that silver dress looks just stunning, wish we'd seen a full view of it!

No wonder she's jetted off today - she couldn't stand her performnance at the Brits either!!! She was rubbish. Why was she asked to perform at the Brits which is for SINGERS - not for performers. Utter tosh.
