Madonna and her toyboy Jesus Luz quashed split rumours at the weekend, looking happier than ever during a trip to Brazil.

The pair partied at the colourful Rio carnival with Madonna's children Mercy James and Lourdes.

Last month it was reported the couple had called time on their relationship.

But they were spotted on a romantic night out earlier this week, cosying up at the popular Disco Voador club..

And now the loved-up pair have been spied having a whale of a time at Rio's fabulous annual carnival.

Looking blissfully happy, the couple gazed adoringly into each other's eyes at every opportunity.

In fact they barely left each other's sides as they enjoyed the music and dance fest, joining in the fun at one point by donning masks and hats.

And they looked every inch the happy family, as Jesus cuddled up to little Mercy James and Lourdes.

She's a beautiful woman with a handsome young man, they make each other happy ... I can think of worse ways to go through menopause. And, by the way, why not any stories about a certain rock star married to a woman over 30-years younger (with three children, no more 'tears in heaven' ...). Double standard. Who needs it?
