The way Kay pounced on Pete when she could see that he was getting upset is disgusting. She obviously could tell that he was uncomfortable yet continued to ask him to talk about it on live tv. She should have treated him with more respect & she doesnt deserve that job!

She clearly is only after Alex for the 'prestige' if you can call it that, she dumped him live on TV so she really cannot like him that much to humiliate him. It was distressing to watch this interview - if you can call it an interview, it was more like and interrogation. Peter was treated as if he had been trying to do something wrong in trying to adopt a child he really loves. You can't compare that situation with the current situation with Alex Reid and there is no suggestion whatsoever that Alex wants to adopt Peter's children so what was the point of taking this line of questioning other than to cause upset to Peter. It's disgusting.

I'm disgusted at this interview. Peter Andre has done an amazing thing in requesting to adopt a little boy who if you believe what is said and written doesn't have a relationship with his biological father. Peter clearly has an amazing relationship with his own biological children (along with Harvey) and the question of Alex Reid adopting them is ridiculous and downright rude. Surely this is none of societies business anyway and should not be discussed on national television. I believe Sky bosses should have a serious chat with Kay Burley and her interview techniques and a public and private apology be made to Peter. I don't believe she would have asked those questions if it had have been a pre-recorded interview.

I am really pleased that Katie and Alex have married, perhaps now they will just ride off into the sunset and disappear, giving us all a break from their constant publicity seeking and her pathetic attitude to real life. SHE says she wants more kids but surely with her track record of dumping her children every time she wanted a holday away or going on all night benders doesn't say much for her parenting skills. She should be thinking of the ones she's already got surely. I keep thinking that if she wasn't a celebrity, somewhere along the line the social services would have been involved by now. As usual one rule for one and another rule for someone else. I also wonder how many parties she'll be holding to celebrate her marriage when she gets home and if the children will be present like they were last time. [While she's been away getting married does anyone know where the children are], my honest guess back home in the care of a nanny. Whats new.

I have just gone through a terrible divorce and have a child involved and my ex married his third pregnant wife a day or two after our divorce was final and I totally understand the distress Peter feels. I think that Kay was wrong to ask Peter about someone wanting to adopt his children what did that have to do with his new album. He comes across as a loving dad who's kids mean the world too him and we don't see much of that in todays world. It's bad enough that those poor kids are growing up with Kate Price as a mother she maybe a loving mum at home it's what the public see that they will have to cope with growing up, if I was Wright I would be happy to have Peter in Harvey's life. Kay should put people's feelings before trying to look a hot reporter I just hope that she felt good after the interview!

To add to Eilbrohob's point about social services, if these were normal people there's no question that Peter would have received full custody of the children, including Harvey, considering Katie's actions over the last year. It would also not be considered shocking for a father to want to adopt a child who he clearly has a very strong father-son bond with in comparison to an absent biological father. I feel sorry for Pete, he seems like such a nice guy and the children are eveidentally his main concern above all - what has he done to deserve to be treated the way Kay did? It's disgusting and I hope Sky reconsider Kay's contract with them, I think few people would consider her actions to be justifiable.

I feel so sorry for Peter after watching this clip. It actually brought a tear to my eye! It was completely unnecessary to ask Peter what he thought if Alex wanted to adopt his kids. There was no need for that. Yes, he would be aware the questions would be asked about his private life, but there was ne need at all to ask that question, which, if Sky did their research about Peter properly, they would know how strongly he feels towards his children, and that he would die for them. Anyone who reads interviews with Peter knows this. Kay Burley was very unprofessional in her questioning, and she should have seen that it was upsetting Peter, then move on. What a good man Peter is. Iv don't think he has to worry about Alex wanting to adopt his children, because he doesn't seem half as decent as Peter is so the thought probably wouldn't even enter his head!

Dwight York, well he is an absolute disgrace to mankind, how dare he show his face on television and talk about disrespect - he is an appalling role model and has no right to be called a "father"!!! Where has he been whilst his son has been growing up?!!!

Peter handled himself very well and even when he had to listen to the garbage which came out of Kay and Dwight's mouths, he responded in a very respectful manner without lowering himself to criticise Dwight, even though he had every right to do so!!!!

Katie Price has shown herself over and over to be vindictive and selfish and unfit to look after her children, and Alex Reid even more so. Nobody in their right mind would give custody of the children to that couple of self-centred attention-seekers. Does she realise that one day they will be old enough to read the quotes in the media about her marriage being a sham and hating her husband? then they will hate her for it.
Pete has been a rock throughout this whole fiasco, he has continued to love and care for all the children and given them stability when they really needed it. I pity the poor kids if she manages to buy her way into gaining custody of them.

Having watched the clip, I dont believe there is any connection with the headline about the surprise wedding but more that it deliberately pocked at Pete by suggesting that Alex Reid would/could adopt Pete's children. He's a different tupe of Dad to Dwight York who has no relationship with Harvey and frankly wouldnt care if he agreed to Pete adopting Harvey. Pete appears passionate about his kids, and always has, and an adoption is ridiculous and illegal anyway! Pete would have to give consent to anyone else having his PR for the children via adoption, and that will NEVER happen. Sky/Kate Burley were really naughty, and actually out of bounds I feel,to keep pressing that point and he did well to keep his composure and dignity. Not sure I would have in the same situation! lol

Pete wanting to adopt Harvey is completely different to Alex adopting the kids, 1- Pete has always played a active role in Harveys life, the child calls him Dad for god sake, Dwight has never bothered with Harvey so he needs to take a reality check and yes Pete would adopt Harvey still if he were aloud to. Why would Alex need to adopt Pete's kids when they already have a father who has them as much as Katie.Totally different set of circumstances.
