Twilight lovebirds Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been banned from spending time together off-screen - by their management.

The co-stars, who were last seen side-by-side on the Isle of Wight on New Year's Eve, have been told to cut back on the time they spend together for the sake of their careers.

According to sources, each of the actors' camps believe neither has time to focus on anything but their work.

The marginally busier of the two, Robert, 23, has three films due for release including April's Remember Me, in which he plays a misguided college student dealing with a succession of family tragedies.

Kristen, 19, is also working on a couple of her own projects, having already wrapped filming on Eclipse, the third Twilight movie in which she'll share the screen with Robert.

If both parties are to take notice of the intervention, we won't see them together again until the promotional tour in July.

Unless, of course, true love prevails and they become the next real-life Romeo and Juliet...

The "sources" must obviously know or see more than Robsten's adoring public. They have not been seen together since Vintnor; over a month ago. I believe they are both dedicated to their careers and projects, and can be as well to themselves. It's a bit over the top for mgmt. to say "separate"; not fair.

This is a way of trying to annoy Rob and Kristen and force a comment or an 'appearance' from them. From what I have seen and read of both of them they wouldn't listen to anyone who tried to tell them what to do.

Like Rob or KStew's management would actually tell them to split (if they are even together...). I would have thought them being together would bring more publicity to all of their projects. Plus, are managements even allowed to meddle with their personal lives?
The old saying of "All publicity is good publicity" surely rings true for this as well.

Personally, I donâ€™t believe anything I read regarding these two anymore. I think this is maybe just yet another ploy to get more attention for the pair to boast awareness for their new films and promotional tours. From a publicity point of view, It's great. Hear say equal news, news equals coverage and gets you noticed by people that will go and see the films. If they are together of not, this brings in mega bucks.

Just another note,â€™ the next real life Romeo & Juliet'? Erm, they both end up dead in the of the play end, so maybe not the best comparison to use.

The "source" of this is Ted C from Eonline. Come on now. They are both working. Rob in Europe & Kristen in LA. These schedules were known. Ted is just trying to cause drama where isn't any & now other publications are picking it up. Move on.
