Victoria Beckham faces painful foot operation
Rex Features
Victoria Beckham could be facing weeks on crutches or even in a wheelchair if she decides to go ahead with surgery on her bunions.
Caused by years of eye-wateringly high designer footwear, it's reported Posh's foot condition has left her in constant pain.

‘Victoria has been in a lot of pain for the past few years, but it's got much worse in the last six months', an insider said.
Doctors have reportedly warned the star - who is known for her love of ultra vertiginous heels - that the painful operation could see her out of action for six weeks, and leave her needing crutches or even a wheelchair.
But sources say the star is terrified at the thought of the surgery. ‘It's a pretty major operation and Vic's said she's having sleepless nights at the though of it'.
In a desperate move to avoid surgery, Mrs B has had to ditch her usual towering high heels for comfy pump and flip-flops.
And whenever she gets home Vic has to pack her feet with ice and do special foot exercises to relieve the pain and try to stop the damage.

In the past, the famous fashionista has voiced her opinions on ballet flats.
'I beyond hate ballerina flats,' she said. ‘Unless they're on a ballet dancer doing ballet, I just don't get it.'
But due to her current condition, the star has had to make a U-turn on her flat shoe ban.
‘I'm not going to lie. But no pain, no gain, as they say. I don't mind. I will suffer. I don't wear heels every day, but when I'm out, that's how I feel confident,' she said.
What do you think of Victoria's latest dilemma? Should she ditch the heels for the sake of her feet? Let usk know your thoughts in the comments box below.

She is just ridiculous! And ruining her feet for the sake of fashion. She'll regret it when she needs that op

I know someone who had the op many years ago..must be more advanced now...so...question...do u want badly deformed painful feet that mishape shoes or do u want.a short term painful op that wil sort it..girl..

This is pathetic. It is not a huge operation and certainly doesn't involve post operative use of a wheel chair. Yes the bones are cut and fixed but it is certainly not a "major" op. It can be performed within 30 minutes under a local aneasthetic. I know as it is my Job!
her footwear has been a contributing factor over the years and yes whilst they do look painful who's feet wouldn't be in those shoes? If she had a breathing condition and was photographed smoking there would a big song and dance but as its her feet and she is famous it seems that it is almost acceptable! THis is even worse when you see the lieks of Suri Cruise in the magazines wearing heels. It won't be long before she's got feet like her mum's pal!
I think that ladies should let this be a lesson learnt. WEAR SENSIBLE SHOES!!!!
