Elle Macpherson to present new series of Britain's Next Top Model
By Rachel Holmes on Tuesday 2 February 2010
Elle Macpherson is set to present the new series of Britain's Next Top Model. Rumours had been flying around for a while that Naomi Campbell would be the one to step into Lisa Snowdon's shoes as the presenter for the hit modelling show, but it was officially annouced yesterday that Elle 'The Body' would host instead.
The show, which is due to air in the summer will see a new crop of young hopefuls trying to make it in the backstabbing modelling industry. The producers will no doubt be hoping for a presenter who is more akin to the no-nonsense US host Tyra Banks than previous host Lisa Snowdon. Macpherson is also set to be executive producer on the show.
'I am really enthusiastic and motivated to work with the team of Britain's Next Top Model,' the 45-year-old Australian said. 'We are looking forward to finding the face that can represent the next generation.'
The series will appear on the cable channel Living later this year.

What? Why are we having an Australian hosting BRITAIN'S Next Top Model! Utterly bizarre....we should be representing our own brand; we have Australia's Next Top Model on Living aswell. What, we couldn't come up with a British model to represent us?? Have always watched the show - not so sure i will bother on this cycle!
