Dannii Minogue pregnant with boyfriend Kris Smith's baby - Celebrity News - Marie Claire

Dannii Minogue has confirmed today that she and boyfriend Kris Smith are expecting their first child.

The 38-year-old X Factor judge confirmed the happy news via a spokesman, who commented: 'Dannii and Kris are very excited and can't wait to start their family in 2010... Dannii had her 12 week scan this week and was given the results today with the all clear to make an announcement.'

The internet has been rife with rumours that Minogue, currently in Australia with her family and beau, was pregnant, but she waited for the scan results before publicising the news.

Minogue and Smith, a former rugby player, have been dating since 2008. This will be the first child for them both.

The happy news could signal the end of Dannii's X Factor career. Speculation that she would leave the show had already started, and with the baby due this summer, her return to the hot seat is already in doubt.

I just hope the same for Kylie for this year.. I suspect that Cheryl will also be a little envious...bet that will be rectified soon. All three of them would be lovely..for all different reasons.
