Miley Cyrus shows off new beau down under

Teenage superstar Miley Cyrus and new man Liam Hemsworth have been spotted enjoying some January sun in Australia during the week.
The new couple have gone to great lengths to keep their relationship a secret, but after pictures of them cuddling up on the beach emerged, we were left in no doubt the pair were more than just friends.
The Hannah Montana star and her new beau have spent New Year visiting his family in beautiful Phillip Island, Victoria.
They lucky teens have been spotted out and about enjoying the sun, frolicking on the beach and browsing the shops, flying back to Los Angeles together yesterday.
Hollywood starlet Miley met actor Liam on the set of new film The Last Song, where he plays her love interest.
But it seems the relationship soon continued off-screen for the young pair.
The teenage songstress kept unusually quiet about her new relationship in a recent interview, instead commenting on her controversial topless shoot with Annie Leibovitz last year.
'Here, my parents are thinking they're seeing a beautiful picture by a major photographer, and the people of America want to see something dirty in that?' said the outspoken teen.

i still think that miley & nick should be together. i just see it in their eyes that nick still like miley! but its mileys life and she can be with whoever she wants 2 be with! i understnad why miley isnt really happy witht eh attention in LA with the media and its true its not nice 4 her! she is a normal person and the paprazi should not make a big deal out of it!!

She seems happy, so what's the bother?
Sure, there's only like a year and a half between them, and a lot of people who make negative comments seem to have forgotten she's 17 & not a child - she's pretty much an adult and can make her own decisions.
She seems to be relaxed and happy with Liam, so lets hope they last :D

I think its great she's with Liam. Liam has the Australian down to earth personality and I think she needs that. I say goodluck to her. x
